The Job

The Company

I am looking for Mechanical Design for an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy. They have previously worked on prestigious projects, delivering innovative designs. The client works on variety of projects including; Education, Higher Education, Health, Leisure and Commercial.

The Role

As a successful candidate you will be joining an experienced multidisciplinary design team in their London office. Within this role you will support the Technical Director in identifying and winning new opportunities. The role will be challenging, demanding, varied and offer opportunities for skill set and career development. Working within the heart of the design team you will prepare, ready for tender, specifications, designs, drawings, contract documentation and equipment schedules. As a client facing role you will develop and present project design proposals to a client following the initial brief and practice discussions. With this role you will be required to manage, guide and develop technical subordinates whilst assisting the Director in proposing and monitoring the operational plan for the company.

Qualifications & Experience

Key elements of the role are as follows
Assisting the Project Director in the delivery of assigned project work
Assisting the Technical Director in work winning to support a growth strategy
Working and liaising with associated engineering disciplines as part of delivering projects
Management of internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for managing external stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and pursuing and promoting opportunities with potential and established clients
Carrying out design and calculation work using relevant industry software (i.e. IES, Revit, Hevacomp)
Maximising profitability of projects, monitoring against budget, reacting and anticipating potential problems and communicating in line with client expectations
