They take every aspect of Construction to the highest level of quality which includes an already established Building Services management team offering support to all its staff.
As a Building Services Manager, working from their Cambridge office, you will be managing a number of Production Facility new-build projects which are now going forward to construction phase. With Pre-construction design review work almost completed, you will be tasked primarily with Procurement Input and managing the remaining Building Services technical submittals from the sub-contractors. Offering technical opinions, support and solutions.
Our client is looking for a Building Services technical manager who has the ability to Plan Ahead and smooth out the construction and installation period. Due to the nature of the project the ideal candidate will have a Building Services background and have particularly good understanding of BMS systems and, ideally but not essential, also BIM, up to level 2. As a Building Services biased Manager, you’ll spend your time out on site dealing directly with the sub-contractors and their Package Managers managing QA, snagging, progress monitoring, void closures, testing and commissioning etc.
The role is to support both the Construction Manager in driving the installation progress of Building Services works, manage design deliverables and change control on site, ensuring the project stays on programme and built to the required specification.
Qualifications & Experience
* Engineering qualifications within a Mechanical or Electrical Building Services discipline
* Previous employment working with an established Main or Sub Contractor Site Manager
* Ideally demonstrable knowledge of specialist or production facility environments
