Our Essex based client has been established for over 15 years has a growing reputation within the industry. This role has come about due to an internal promotion. They have a genuine interest in the development of their business and their employees’ own career development. They require Electrical Projects Manager, an individual who is looking to grow within a successful company that has a clear, defined business plan.

We require an Electrical Projects Manager on behalf of our Client, a highly successful M&E Sub-Contractor based just outside of London. They need a Projects Manager to manage operations on and off site of their upcoming High-End Residential projects.

Your involvement will predominantly be in High-End Residential projects in Central London, but also in Commercial and Industrial Projects up to the M&E value of £6m.

The Role

As Electrical Projects Manager for our client some of your responsibilities will include:
• Placing orders with subcontractors and suppliers
• Managing site issues and keeping to deadlines
• Issuing programmes (both pre-construction and construction)
• Liaising with the project design team to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
• Managing site health and safety issues on site.
• Working alongside the Commercial Team on finances, issuing Technical Submittals and producing reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• City and Guilds 17th Edition
• Experience with High-End Residential Projects is essential to this role
• HND or Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering would be preferred, but is by no means essential
• You must be able to have demonstrable knowledge of Contract Management or Project management roles.
• A strong understanding of Electrical Building Services installations and Contracts Management
• Acquaintance with the final accounts process
