Graduate Electrical Engineer – Sunbury-on-Thames

BSV are current hiring for a Graduate Electrical Engineer, on behalf of our client who has maintained a strong reputation in the Building Services industry with an unrivalled teamwork ethic. We are currently looking for an individual with a passion for Electrical Building services design engineering, looking to further their career and receive unparalleled support from a consultancy with a reputation spanning over 45 years.

The Role

The role:
As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer for our client, some of your duties may include:
• Expediting the As Constructed Drawings.
• Checking all sub contractor drawings and details to ensure compliance.
• Daily supervision of sub contractors to ensure safe working practices and timely delivery in accordance with project requirements.
• Developing and implementing the sub contract ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Maintaining Quality Assurance Records and ensuring compliance with clients' specification.
• Implementing risk assessments, method statements and programmes into site activity.
• Planning and sequencing of operations including the writing of risk assessments and method statements.
• Assisting with the preparation of reports and front end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take off's and out to tender schedules.
• Assisting with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue and analysing returned tenders.
• Assisting project with financial control of contracts during construction stage.
• Liaising and co-coordinating with clients and other members of the design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
• Carrying out document control, recording & transmitting information.
• Attending site meetings. Clarifying queries with the Design team through the request for information (RFI) system.
• Preparing & keeping up to date the delivery schedule to control deliveries.
• Checking & Preparing all final handover and commissioning documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Building Services Engineering Bachelors or Masters Degree, Diploma or equivalent.
