The Job

The Company

One of our great clients in Kent who specialise in Building Services Engineering is looking for a Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their team. They are a team of project managers, building services engineers, cost managers and fire engineers working within the UK and throughout Europe. They specialise in a variety of different projects such as data centres, residential, commercial and warehouses.

The Role

You will work on a varied portfolio of projects in building services that span a cross-section of sectors with specific local focuses on data centres, residential, commercial and warehouses.
Contribute to the professional development of individual team members
You will have the opportunity to lead electrical services design on large projects and lead overall MEP on small to medium sized projects within the office.
Responsible for dealing successfully with Clients and other professionals.
You will support the Electrical Design development of initial engineering concepts through to the delivery of detailed designs and specifications.
Undertake site surveys and investigations, and see your designs become a reality.
You will be encouraged to contribute to developing new and innovative ways of working with a strong emphasis on developing your own digital skills.
Develop an awareness of construction procurement routes, project management skills and financial acumen.
You will be designing power and lighting systems for different types of buildings

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 3-4 years in the design of electrical systems within MEP sector
- Excellence knowledge in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Amtech (Trimble) and Dialux software
- Minimum knowledge of Revit MEP
- Having completed studies in electrical engineering
- Driving licence
- Good attitude and willingness to learn and improve
