The Company

This Mechanical Design engineering role is with an established Building Services consultancy and you will be working within their new Central London office. They employ over 200 MEP engineers from 8 locations within the UK. This client is a major consultancy within Building Services industry and within their new office is a fantastic opportunity designing for the Commercial, Retail and Education business sectors amongst others.
This company believes the future will be influenced by BIM – all their staff will be users of Revit.
Having recently won a major 900 residential unit, mixed-use design project this is a fantastic role for a Mechanical design engineer who has working knowledge of Revit software. The project will provide design experience working on Retail, Residential and Commercial environments.

The Role

This engineer will undertake detailed design, additional training will be provided where required. Based in a growing team, you will be encouraged to communicate with external design team members. You will be encouraged to take on further responsibility when appropriate.
You will be a team player but able to work automatously. You will be an engineer who wants to design whilst using Revit MEP.
This position will suit an Intermediate mechanical Building Services engineer who has demonstratable Mechanical Building Services design engineering knowledge. The ideal Mechanical engineer (Building Services) will be career driven and focused on working relationships with clients, project teams and other MEP disciplines. You should also have a knowledge of working with Revit MEP.
You will have worked for either a consultant or a HVAC contractor.
This Mechanical Building Services job will include:
• Working closely with senior engineers you will provide calculations, schematics, analysis, drawings, models, diagrams, specifications and any other documents which relate to the project
• Manage resources including Revit and AutoCAD
• Be prepared for further personal training and CPD to achieve Chartered status.
• A path to career progression

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc/B.Eng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
• Member of/or working towards Chartership
