BSV are currently searching for a Mechanical Project Engineer, on behalf of our client a multi-disciplinary Engineering consultancy with a world class reputation. This role has come about due to the growth strategy of our clients and they are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer who will be able to carry on their reputation of excellence. The Role

The role:
As a Mechanical Project Engineer for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Site surveys and inspections
• Mechanical Building Services engineering design to company standards
• Carrying out design calculations
• Preparing drawings for drafting by others and preparing technical specifications
• Maintaining records and archives to company standards
• Managing their own workload and some management of graduate and junior members of staff
• Create, develop and advise on their clients building services engineering designs as well as monitoring site installation works
• Join our clients MEP engineering section to provide engineering support on building services engineering projects including new build and refurbishment projects for the public and private sectors
• Operate as part of our client’s project team, within appropriate authority levels and attend project team meetings with clients and other members of staff

Qualifications & Experience

To succeed in the role above, ideally you will have the following;
• Demonstrable experience across the breadth of Mechanical Building Services
• An accredited degree from a recognised building services institution, such as CIBSE or IMechE and in a Mechanical Engineering or Building Services discipline
• The ideal candidate will also have the ability to utilise Autodesk Revit MEP with an appreciation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Trimble NES Specification Writing software.
