The Job

The Company

Our Client provides mechanical, electrical, public health and sustainable design solutions. They service large clients in Residential, Education, Health, Retail and Banking space. They have 04 offices across UK . Due to an expansion of projects and growth within the business they are looking to take on an Mechanical Design Engineer, to work on a variety of projects

The Role

Previously worked on and successfully managed large projects in Banking & Finance and retail space
Must be able to read drawings and be familiar with technical submissions and part schedules
Should be in a client facing role with the ability of growing the business
Ideally capable of designing using AutoCAD LT software with assistance from the CAD department
Experience at a senior level within mechanical building services engineering preferably within a consultancy business
Managed all aspects of project management from tender stage through to practical completion
Enthusiastic and dedicated to maintaining high quality standards
Good knowledge of BREEAM calculations and design

Qualifications & Experience

10-15 years proven track experience in Mechanical Design
Ideally qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering
CIBSE Chartered Engineer (Preferred)
Knowledge of British Standards, CIBSE Design Guides, Building Regulations and other industry relevant standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues, clients and customers
Good attention to detail and creative approach to problem solving
Ability to work under pressure and anticipate any problems
You will be required to travel between site and head office
Drive and determination
Able to live & work in the UK
