Company:
Our client is based in Northampton and is looking for a hard working and passionate Electrical Design Engineer to add value to their team.

Core Responsibilities:
• Develops comprehensive electrical designs, covering schematics, LV distribution, lighting, small power & data, fire alarm, and security layouts.
• Provides support to the Design/Engineering team to ensure all project milestones are met.
• Performs calculations in line with the latest British Standards.
• Aims to reduce expenses and non-billable costs.
• Participates in design team meetings, both internally and with clients.
• Effectively communicates design solutions to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Delivers presentations to external organizations, clients, and peer groups.
• Manages tasks to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Assists lead engineers in gathering and distributing project information to the project team.
• Uses software tools like AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, Microsoft Office, and Revit (Revit experience is not mandatory).
• Ensures that all designs are in compliance with employer requirements, British Standards, and relevant regulations.
Role Requirements:
• A Building Services Engineering HNC, or an equivalent degree in a related field.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering design principles.
