Core Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer (Building Services), the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to electrical design and consultancy services. They will work closely with clients, attend meetings, and provide expert insights on electrical systems across various projects in sectors such as residential, retail, and commercial. The role will require a combination of technical expertise, teamwork, and a client-focused mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing all aspects of electrical design, including performing         necessary calculations to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Attending client meetings, conducting site inspections, and  preparing comprehensive reports.
• Presenting designs for stage and peer review while undertaking  third-party design reviews as necessary.
• Conducting site surveys to assess existing electrical systems and  their capacities.
• Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside  other engineers and directors.

Role Requirements and Skills Required:

• A Building Services Engineering HNC, or an equivalent degree in a related field.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering design principles.
• Proficiency in producing 2D and single-line schematic designs using CAD.
• Knowledge of Cymap and Dialux/Relux is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Revit is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience across a variety of sectors, particularly in residential, retail, and commercial settings.
