Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Chartered Engineer with Building Services experience, strong networking skills and a proven track record of winning work. The ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of our engineering team, working across a variety of sectors and driving new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Develop and expand client relationships, proactively seeking new business and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and MEP engineers to provide integrated consultancy services.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
- Assist in resource planning and team development to meet the demands of a growing pipeline of projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and innovation within the firm.
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a strong technical background in any sector (except healthcare and nuclear).
- Proven ability to secure and deliver projects, with excellent client-facing and networking skills.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and developing client relationships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver within time and budget constraints.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards would be beneficial.
