The Role

This will suit an electrical design engineer who is a good communicator, creative, driven and has strong Electrical Building Services engineering consultant engineering knowledge.

The successful Electrical engineer (Building Services) will be very client focused and enjoy a close working relationship with clients and project teams.

You will manage existing Framework agreements, providing consultancy advise to performance specifications completed by “design and build” installers, as well as manage the design of bespoke Electrical Small Power and Lighting solutions from initial conception to full design and delivery.

This Electrical Building Services job will include the design of:

• Amtech Modelling
• LV Distribution
• Distribution board schedules
• Containment
• Small power
• Lighting design/ controls/ Emergency Lighting
• Fire alarm
• Earthing and Bonding
• Mechanical Power

Duties will include:

• Managing client and other professionals
• Manage the production and delivery of safe, reliable and fit for purpose Electrical Building Services engineering solutions
• Use technical and commercial knowledge and experience to identify and resolve Building Services engineering issues
• Ensure the scope of the project programme is appropriate and the technical requirements are deliverable and also are delivered in accordance with the brief and standard regulations and guides (CIBSE & IET)
• Manage resources (Engineering, CAD & Administration)

Qualifications

• B.Sc/B.Eng (Hons) Electrical Engineering
• Member of/or working towards Chartership
