Our client is a Building Services Design Consultancy based in the South East of England, specialising in Education, Health, Residential, Heritage and Commercial. They are looking for a passionate and hard working Engineer to join their team.

Core Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer in the Building Services sector, you will bring a minimum of 5 years of design experience within the healthcare sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of Healthcare Technical Memoranda (HTM). UK work experience and the right to work in the UK are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support electrical design projects, primarily within the healthcare sector.
• Develop and implement electrical systems in compliance with industry standards and HTM guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as required.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
UK Experience and Rights to Work in the UK.
Strong understanding of HTMs and their application in healthcare projects.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is an advantage.
