One of the largest MEP Consultancies in the UK is now expanding their regional office in Buckinghamshire and looking for an Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer to join their office, and work as part of the largest consulting engineering firm of its kind.

The job responsibilities of an Electrical Design Engineer within Building Services:
- You will engage in a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Research, Transport, and Commercial industries.
- Your role will involve supporting the transition from initial engineering concepts to the creation of detailed designs and specifications.
- You will conduct site surveys and investigations, bringing your designs to life.
- We encourage you to contribute to the development of innovative work practices, with a strong focus on enhancing your digital skills.
- You will explore the latest technologies and take time to research advanced systems to ensure we provide the best solutions for our clients.
- Help us uphold a strong reputation in the industry by adhering to a supportive Integrated Management System.

- Additionally, you will develop an understanding of construction procurement routes, project management skills, and financial literacy.
Job requirements for the position:
Clear understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
Previous consultancy experience: you will appreciate the importance of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling in the design of buildings.
Working towards or achieved Chartered Engineer status.
Courage to innovate and develop new ways of working.
Autonomous approach: able to lead small projects/tasks and able to take a brief from the project lead on medium to large scale projects and deliver and control the tasks required under minimal supervision.
