The client:
My client is a leading independent consultancy that specializes in Development, Built Asset & Engineering, and Sustainability. They prioritize the wellbeing of people and the performance of buildings in everything they do.

Key Accountabilities:
Work closely with the Engineering and Sustainability (E&S) team, reporting to the E&C Associate Director.
Support the technical delivery of LCA/LCC/WLC analysis and reporting. Assist with producing models, analyzing results, and proposing solutions to reduce the upfront embodied and whole life carbon of projects.
Support the technical delivery of EPC, MEES, and NZC pathway reporting. Assist with creating IES models (including compliance and TM54), writing reports, and communicating low carbon analysis and solutions to internal and external project teams to develop resource-efficient, low-carbon buildings.
Collaborate with the E&S hub’s MEP engineering team to identify and develop best practices, including workflows, standard templates, and documents.
Stay informed on the latest developments, research, and policies related to low-carbon buildings and materials.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of and interest in sustainable development issues and low-carbon design, particularly as they apply to the built environment.
Proficiency in Excel for data extraction and analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
A building-related degree, preferably in engineering or architecture.
Ability to write clear, concise reports (training will be provided for TFT-specific reports).
Demonstrated progress toward professional accreditation (e.g., Chartership), with the aim of completion within 5 years (support and guidance will be provided to help you achieve this).
Useful Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
A Master’s degree in a sustainability-related field is desirable but not essential.
Experience in sustainability consultancy is an advantage, but not required.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles, UK policy frameworks, and industry benchmarks.
Flexibility to adapt to different work scenarios and a willingness to travel.
