I’m seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with several years of experience, ideally based in the North of England. Our boutique client offers a comprehensive range of engineering design services, specializing in mechanical and electrical disciplines. With a strong focus on the Northeast, they work on diverse projects, from residential developments to large-scale commercial and pharmaceutical ventures, providing tailored solutions to a variety of clients across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design on a range of building services projects.
• Develop detailed electrical design solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated building services solutions.
• Participate in project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
• Experience with design software such as Amtech, Dialux, Autocad (Revit is a bonus).
• Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
