In addition to 40 decades in the business, their team is growing and now looking for a Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

Core Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working in the UK, with strong technical abilities and a keen interest in progressing within the building services industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs for various projects, working closely with our multidisciplinary team. This could be a hybrid role, offering flexibility between office and remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical design solutions for a range of projects, including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, and heritage sectors.
• Assist in the preparation of design drawings, specifications, and reports in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess electrical requirements.
• Contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions.
• Assist in the production of technical documents and participate in design reviews.
• Stay updated on relevant UK regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Support senior engineers in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Engage in continuous professional development and seek opportunities to improve technical skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical design within the UK, preferably in building services.
• Good understanding of UK building regulations, design standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Self-motivated, with a strong commitment to professional development
