The Opportunity

As a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality design and consultancy services across a wide range of building services projects. You’ll take ownership of electrical design packages, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and act as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

You’ll also contribute to mentoring junior engineers, guiding them technically and professionally, and you’ll have the chance to influence company practices and project delivery standards as we continue to grow.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from regional hubs, making it suitable for candidates based in London, the South West, the Midlands, or Belfast.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical design packages for new build and refurbishment projects
• Work closely with clients, architects, and other consultants to ensure project success
• Contribute to feasibility studies, concept and detailed design, and specifications
• Carry out site inspections and witness testing as needed
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
• Help shape internal processes and contribute to business growth

What we are looking for:

• 5–8 years’ experience in electrical or building services engineering
• Strong technical background with the ability to lead projects independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electrical design software including:
  • Amtech/Trimble
  • Elec OM
  • Dialux / Relux
  • AutoCAD
• A proactive approach and desire to contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture
