They are currently looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join their Birmingham office.

Key Skills and Traits:

The applicant should have 2-3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field, with strong understanding of compliance standards and IES modeling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will also prove valuable. We would hope that the candidate would be ambitious, self-motivated, and a team player with a positive personality. There needs to be an eagerness to learn and to contribute to the growth of a new team. The applicant would also need to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

-Provide expert sustainability consulting services to clients, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
-Conduct IES modeling and performance assessments to evaluate building sustainability
-Collaborate with clients and team members to develop tailored sustainability strategies and solutions
-Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans
-Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability policies and best practices within the organization
-Mentor and support junior staff as the team grows, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
-Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations impacting sustainability

Role Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
-2-3 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting
-Proficient in IES modeling software and a strong understanding of building regulations
-Must be eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship is offered
-Willingness to contribute to team-building efforts and help establishing a new team
-Passion for creating sustainable solutions and a commitment to client satisfaction
