An established engineering consultancy known for delivering mechanical and electrical design excellence across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and refurbishments is looking for a BIM Technician fully conversant in Revit. Our clients pride themselves on collaborative work, sustainability, and a strong reputation in building services coordination and performance analysis.

The Role
Your core responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing detailed BIM models using Revit, aligned with Level 2 maturity standards and PAS 1192-2:2013 / RIBA Plan of Work protocols
• Coordinating building services elements—such as heating, cooling, ventilation, electrical distribution, lighting, fire protection, and public health systems—ensuring seamless integration across design teams
• Conducting clash detection using tools like Navisworks and collaborating to deliver on BIM Execution Plans for sectors like healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial facilities
• Supporting multi-disciplinary design teams with building services modelling, contributing to sustainable design efforts, energy performance, and compliance with environmental standards.

Requirements

• Qualified in BIM/Revit with at least 5+ years of hands-on UK experience in building services projects.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health services design.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, execution plans, and clash coordination workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Bonus: Experience in sustainable design or building physics is highly valued.
