One of my very well established clients outside London is now looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing building services team. They are ideally looking for somebody who lives in a commutable distance from the office and has got a Degree in Building Services field of Mechanical Engineering. The company was formed in 1978 and now operates with three directors who have direct involvement in project delivery and management. With more than four decades of experience EEP has delivered on more than 4,000 successful projects and has been associated with hundreds of Clients. They pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Environmental engineering solutions in a broad range of projects. From large new-build, renovations and fit-outs to bespoke environmental designs that result in more efficient buildings.

The job responsibilities as a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer:

This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in Mechanical Building Services Engineering. You will be working with a medium sized consultancy with 1 office near London where you will be offered training, mentoring and experience in the following principal areas:
• Design of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and associated installations specifying both traditional and sustainable equipment
• Undertake energy and engineering analysis including calculations and simulations for equipment sizing, heating and cooling loads and energy using a range of design software.
• Occasional site surveys and preparation of reports
• Working on a variety of projects including: Commercial, Residential, Sports Facilities, Industrial, Educational, etc.

Job Requirements:
• University degree, HND or HNC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
• Good all round IT skills with some knowledge or familiarity with any of the following advantageous but not essential
basic knowledge on Hevacomp, IES, ANSYS, Revit, AutoCAD or similar.
• Good numerical and analytical skills together with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written, technical ideas and solutions.
• Genuine interest in Mechanical Building Services and a willingness to learn
