What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of electrical design projects from initial concept through to handover, crafting efficient and sustainable solutions tailored to each client’s vision.
• Design and optimize power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and renewable energy systems that push the boundaries of traditional engineering.
• Apply your technical know-how to carry out detailed calculations, simulations, and reviews, ensuring every design is robust, compliant, and cutting-edge.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients—your voice and insights will be valued at every stage.
• Inspire and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
• Lead site inspections and commissioning activities, ensuring that what you design is flawlessly brought to life.
• Champion sustainable design principles and stay ahead of industry trends to embed energy efficiency and low-carbon thinking in every project.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with Chartered status or on the path to achieving it.
• 5+ years’ experience in building services electrical design, with a portfolio showcasing diverse and challenging projects.
• Deep knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and best practices, paired with hands-on experience using electrical design and BIM software.
• A confident communicator who thrives in collaborative environments and can manage multiple projects with poise and professionalism.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and a drive to innovate within the built environment.
