Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to step into a senior role within a growing and dynamic Building Services consultancy?
We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team delivering high-quality MEP design across a diverse portfolio of projects — from commercial and residential developments to healthcare, education, and sustainability-focused schemes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems on projects from concept to completion.
- Work closely with internal mechanical, sustainability, and BIM teams as well as external consultants and clients.
- Produce specifications, drawings, and calculations in compliance with relevant standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the wider team.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and design team workshops.
- Support project delivery, ensuring quality, budgets, and deadlines are met.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered or working toward Chartership (IET or similar).
- Proven experience in a consultancy environment delivering Building Services design.
- Strong knowledge of current building regulations, codes, and sustainable design principles.
- Skilled in using relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux).
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with client-facing experience.
